Bishop Lyons also attended Nassau Community College, Syracuse University College of New Rochelle, New York Institute of Technology, and the New York School of the Bible. He has served as a Missionary in Haiti, Nigeria West Africa, and Europe. He has also written and self-published his first book entitled “Overcoming Disappointments”. Norman Lyons, Jr. has also served on the Council for the International Congress of Local Churches. He has served on the Board of Education for the Long Island Christian Academy. He was the first Chaplain of the Long Island Interdenominational Conference of Clergy. After years of faithful service Norman Lyons, Jr. was consecrated to the sacred office of Bishop in the Lord’s church on December 7, 2002. Subsequently, he became the Founder and presiding Prelate over the Vision of Victory fellowship. Again in obedience to God, on July 24, 2006, Bishop Lyons was consecrated to the office of Apostle. In December, 2015, Bishop Lyons became a New York State Certified Chaplain. Apostle Lyons and his wife Sharon’s family include their daughters; Juliet Lyons – Clarke and her husband, Joaquin Clarke, and their daughter Jasmine Latrice Lyons.
